Saddam's al Qaeda Connection

http://www.thememoryhole.org/war/no-saddam-qaeda.htm

In this first link, Bush says there is no connection between Saddam and al Qaeda.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/2727471.stm

In this second link, Brit. intel says there is not a connection.

http://www.washtimes.com/national/20030712-104217-1565r.htm

In this third link, former members of the Bush administration say the link between al Qaeda and Saddam was "sketchy at best".

Frankly, your article notwithstanding, I am pretty convinced that there was not a substantive link between al Qaeda and Saddam, the operative word being substantive.

But thanks for the update!
