Bush is spending like a drunken Sailor. A lesson learned from the 30's depression after a market crash.

Of course voters love getting $2 back for every $1 sent in.
Just think of how much this prescription drug plan is going to cost the younger generation...billions, trillions?

The Pubs voted for it but the Dems were right there ready to pounce if they didn't.

What did we get for our money again? (I forgot) :-/

Well lessee, you get the first loss of jobs since Hoover, the largest transfer of DOD money into private profiteer hands in history, hollowing out of the economy, and increased fear and terrorism, which is the stock in trade of tyrannies since Rome.

And if that doesn't make you happy, there will be more terrorism.

"The beatings will continue until morale improves"

But, where are the terrorists?

Shhhh ... they are everywhere, but they are invisible... Trust Ashcroft to find them, maybe under your neighbor's bed, or yours !

For the average citizen being unable to unseat the sociopaths means its time to invest in rural land, technology, food, and ammunition, which all become priceless in a Nero-type situation.

Speaking of technology, my brother just asked whether its more prudent to develop a terrorist-detector or an Ashcroft-detector, an interesting question. Considering the evidence of intel spooks showing up everywhere the terrorists did, the same unit would likely serve both functions! LOL!
