I had a lawyer like that once. My current lawyer will stick both fingers in his ears and go NAH NAH NAH NAH when I try and tell him the truth. He will then pace around the room sit on his desk and say something comforting like "do you want a pay do or not?" I find lawyers lie most when there is a contingency agreement in place with the client they are representing.
