I like tech, but was appalled by the bubble. Oil rules the economy and cheap oil helped to finance the tech bubble. The tech recession was largely signalled by, if not caused by a confluence of tech bubble and the end of dirt cheap oil. The oil boys are in the driver's seat -- for now. They grossly overplayed their hand by invading Iraq -- I wish them good riddence.
