The possibility of an Iraqi disinformation campaign to throw us of on key points about what was going on in that country would, of course, exonerate the Administration, although it might bring into question the professionalism of the intelligence services.

That's a genuine hoot, scott. Finger pointing at a new level of mendacity. Tired of finger pointing other agencies within the administration--the CIA is to blame, no it's State, no it's the NSC, etc.--they are now blaming Chalabi, or, heavens, Saddam hoodwinked us. If it weren't so sad, we could all have a good laugh and get on with our lives.
