I was a lifelong Democrat. I couldn't take the Democrat Party tilting away from standards, integrity and personal accountability, so I switched parties. For instance, instead of the Democrats taking a strong stand with President Bush against our enemies, the Democrats are trying to weaken Bush so that they can make political gains. They are calling Bush a liar. They are saying that there weren't WMDs. They are faulting Bush for his post war game plan. THIS IS NOT A GAME! 3000+ real Americans died on 9/11 and real Americans, in fact some of America's best, are dying in Iraq right now. This is the wrong time for the Democrat Party to add comfort to America's enemies!

It is sad. I am a firm believer in a two party system. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Democrat Party needs a wake up call in Nov 2004.
