Let me ask you a question. Do you think that Congress would have approved an exercise in decimation of the sort you describe in which young Americans serve as catnip to increasingly inflame and attract Islamic jihadist killers, luring them into engagements in which many Americans will die, while the exposed homeland front is starved of resources? (They are neglecting port and border security enhancements for budgetary reasons, for example.) Is this the smartest strategy you guys can think of? God help us, if it is. Since serving as catnip to "lure them in" doesn't require youthful physical health or specialized training, I'm sure you'll agree that there's great scope here for volunteers of your persuasion.
