I think all should be well now. The ISP found that a website on the same router as us was using a huge amount of bandwidth. SI and iHub are, in that order, the ISP's largest customers in terms of average bandwidth usage. iHub has more traffic, but the delivery is very bandwidth-friendly. Anyway, the site they found was suddenly using about 5 times as much bandwidth as SI typically uses. I tested throughput yesterday from the office and found that I was getting download speeds approaching 90KBs, which is substantially faster than I should be getting since I've just got a 768k DSL line.
