Ted, A. Coulter is saying that Nixon and McCarthy were falsely accused and that really, they are good guys.....in spite of the fact that Nixon resigned in disgrace and McCarthy was censored by his peers in the US Senate.

McCarthy was a loon. Nixon went too far when it came to Watergate, but he got us out of Vietnam and helped improve relations with China. I don't know why Coulter needs to defend McCarthy, but Nixon did a lot of good things during his presidency.

How is this idiocy of Coulter's the same as the issues above which I'm sure De Genova is referring to in his criticism of the US?

Coulter is focused on the wily tactics of the liberal left. De Genova is focused on the evils of American imperialism. Both derive wild, nonsensical theories based on their respective focuses and beliefs.

At least they share one thing in common, which is their belief that they are challenging what they think is the status quo. You could see it as two sides of extremism in this political duopoly we have in America.
