They hope that the economy will recover and jobs will be created. The problem IMHO is that many jobs are subcontracted overseas to China, India and other goods are imported also from Pakistan, Indonesia etc. That is why Snow is going to put pressure on the Asian countries to help the US out and I do not know how he will succeed there are 1.3 billion Chinese and 1 billion Indians 250 million Indonesians and the list goes on. In the meantime Japan is unhappy with a low EUR and started buying EUR's. The real solution is USD devaluation to improve the trade balance with countries which do not have the "peg" on their currencies.
