Jacob,

Seriously - your kidding right?

The oild fields that were sacked, robbed of equipment or bombed were in Kuwait, the damage was done by iraqi's. And the Kuwaiti's needed help.

"After the 1991 war, the Iraqis got oil production up and running again, all by themselves, with virtually no foreign (and zero American) help. "

As John Cavanaugh noted, the damage was done to Kuwait's
oil fields & billions were spent to repair the damage. Iraq
just turned their production back on & maintained it like
the rest of Iraq's infrastructure..... patched together
haphazardly & cheaply while billions were spent on a
wealthy few.
