isolated island nations dependent on the USN to keep the sealanes open for trade should be mindful of their reality.

Reminds me of statements like :

"Britania rules the waves" and

"The sun never sets on the British Empire"

A quick study of history proves both to be wrong over time.

The history of people "calling them like they see em" on this thread includes an incredible amount of propaganda regurgitation, pompously and self-righteously trumpeted as indisputable "fact". True believers gotta believe. Anything else would be unAmerican.
