"I guess maybe many sillyheads thought that ......" I know that many liberals & liberal politicians took Bush's words out of context immediately after that SOTUA. They began to falsely attribute "imminent threat" directly to Bush. From there began a broad smear campaign based on their own false attribution. You may deny the reality of this, spin it, manipulate it, distort it all you wish. What won't change is what actually happened in the real world. It wasn't the first instance of such repugnant behavior & surely it won't be the last. In fact, it seems to be commonplace these days.
