Co's like Lucent with Carly Fiorina laying off high-wage people like crazy, now she's at HPQ doing the same thing.. Enron.. Worldcom .. Nortel .. Global Crossing .. Value America .. T .. NRG .. Pets.com .. AMR .. CMGI .. VA Linux .. Vicinty .. these co's did not 'offshore' - they hit the delete key on all those jobs. Are you kidding, you better read up Victor. Carly is laying off US workers to hire in india. I'll bet you 75% of the layoff notices you see around now are really offshore labor shifts. We would be out of this recession now if it weren't for the offshoring. If you want me to find you documentation of HP hiring foreign workers like mad, I will. I'm not really against offshoring btw I just think its tough.
