I've got a better example. Let's say we got Hillary as President of the U.S., and she decided that it was in our interest to grant Al Qaeda and the Taliban statehood and complete recognition, without any preconditions, and to offer them economic, military support. They could then use that support to destroy America, couldn't they? Would we want to do that?

That would be in direct conflict with most Americans, who don't want to be destroyed by terrorists.

Wouldn't Americans, who didn't want to be destroyed by terrorists have a conflict with the Hillary government?
