An article from the NYT is not really a credible source from which to form and base an opinion.....there are no ethics at that rag.....

Kenneth, I think it's probably hard to predict the effects of that with the limited information supplied by that article. On one hand pollution controls must be observed and tight enough to protect us. On the other hand we should not tie the utility companies hands from updating their plants due to rising costs of adhering to policies which may be to stringent.

kenny, it highly unlikely that pollution in New York will increase because of the new rules. In fact it is highly likely that the pollution will decrease. That is my guess or informed evaluation of system engineering factors.

But I doubt those in New York have a clue. And I doubt the EPA can show definitively one way or the other.

And the one thing that is certain is you status as a total technology ignoramus and mathaphobic means any opinion you express will be an opinion based upon complete ignorance of the facts. Kenny you have no ability to understand the meaning of any facts presented in such a technolgogy area.

Now does pataki know the suit if false, or wants to believe it because he is afraid of doing the right thing on this issue. I don't know.

America is populated by so many technology idiots and the DEMS feed them lies all the time. The truth is polluted and politics exists within a polluted truth.

Ultimetely energy is required to have the Good American Life. I believe all today try to create as much energy as possible with the least amount of pollution. There is a cost of production and there is a generally accepted degree of pollution vs cost. Some want to argue about parts per billion.
