So, what chances does everybody give that we will have a major act of terrorism here in our homeland? And who thinks when? I hope I am wrong, but I am trying to look at reality. Terrorism is not going away. We are a hated country and hated people, and those that hate us are FANATICS, who are very dangerous. Anybody that is willing to give up his/her life to kill innocent woman and children that know nothing about politics, and who think their God will reward them for such an act, are sick, dangerous and determined people. Again, I hope nothing bad happens, but looking at reality, I cannot help but think it is not if, but more a matter of when, where and how. Do others have an opinion on this subject and what could happen to markets as a result. Will it be just a short sell off with people jumping in to buy after we are whacked, or will people finally throw in the towel and feel their money is safer under their mattress or earning 2%, then it is in equities, with such an uncertain world situation, creating the "worst has yet to happen" scenario, that many people are saying about this market and this current rally. I hear alot of people saying they think this rally is good thru at least end of 04, and the other half are saying the worst has yet to hit the markets and those not selling this rally and going to cash are going to get harder then the 3 year bear hit us.........hard to know who or what to believe, but I do feel an act of terror is inevitable eventually.
