Oh, I see. You are, in the first instance, objecting to drawing the implication that Blix felt intimidated by the pressure. After that, you are objecting to my point that pressure does not necessarily equal intimidation. The first is a minor point, so I am happy to concede that it does not precisely say that he supposed Blix felt intimidated. That, of course, would strengthen my point that such criticism does not necessarily equal intimidation. But more than that, if the question is "Was it supposed to be intimidating?", the answer has to be "Who knows?", at worst. If someone offers what he considers to be fair criticism, then the intent is not necessarily to intimidate, but to, well, criticize. Otherwise, any vigorous expression of disagreement can be dismissed as an effort at intimidation......
