I have not followed this use of options in the past, so do not know. Derivative activity will continue to grow (again, in my opinion) and with it the gamblers and the size they gamble with... I'm just wondering how much longer the option MM will be allowed to get away with not representing a valid offer. Now, they can continue to sell at $1.85 while I'm sitting there saying I'm willing to sell mine for $1.80. NASDAQ used to be the same, but at least now they can't charge more than the best ask. (Even if you don't fill, at least "they" can't get more for theirs until you do...) Ira
