First I ever heard of it. But I did a search on Google and found a ton of references to the quote. Absolutely no one defended Coulter's idiotic statement.

She is a regular guest at Fox and other so called liberal networks... here're a few more samples of her wisdom.

"When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize they can be killed to. Otherwise they will turn out to be outright traitors."

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

"we should invade their countries, kill their leaders take their oil and convert them to Christianity."

"God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, 'Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.'"---Hannity & Colmes, 6/20/01

To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."---MSNBC

"I think [women] should be armed but should not [be allowed to] vote."---Politically Incorrect, 2/26/01

"If you don't hate Clinton and the people who labored to keep him in office, you don't love your country."---George

"I am emboldened by my looks to say things Republican men wouldn't."---TV Guide 8/97

"The thing I like about Bush is I think he hates liberals."---Washington Post 8/1/00

On Rep. Christopher Shays (d-CT) in deciding whether to run against him as a Libertarian candidate: "I really want to hurt him. I want him to feel pain."---Hartford Courant 6/25/99

"My libertarian friends are probably getting a little upset now but I think that's because they never appreciate the benefits of local fascism."---MSNBC 2/8/97

"You want to be careful not to become just a blowhard."---Washington Post 10/16/98

I think she has achieved the status eminently, don't you?

Al

PS. I do not agree with DeGenova's extreme views either. I think I already said that.

Al, i remind you of when she wondered aloud whether it would be better "to impeach or assassinate" then president Clinton.

First I ever heard of it. But I did a search on Google and found a ton of references to the quote. Absolutely no one defended Coulter's idiotic statement.

That's not true. The right either agrees with Coulter or defends her right to say the attention getting BS statement she makes.

This in contrast to De Genova merely "practicing free speech," according to Columbia Univ.

De Genova has been roundly criticized and/or condemned by the remarks he made in that teach in. Those criticisms/condemnations have come from Columbia representatives, other academicians and public officials. Nonetheless, much like Coulter, he has the right to say what he says under the freedom of speech.
