You wrote:"However, until such time as this country is under physical attack and really at war, I will continue to exercise my right to disagree with my gov't."

I agree. All peoples should all disagree with their governments. If it weren't for the great sacrifices by America's soldiers, NONE of the peoples of this world would be free to disagree with their government.

"NONE of the peoples of the world would be free"? That's a bit chauvinistic and suggests you have a crystal ball. Since I don't think you do, let's leave it at the "I agree" part.

Disagree, is one thing. Providing aid and comfort to terrorists who are trying to destroy America goes beyond "disagreeing". Lying deliberately about President Bush, and constantly trying to do damage to the leadership of our country while we are at a win or lose war against Muslim terrorism, goes beyond "disagreeing".

I think we're back to "if you dare to disagree with the president, than you're unpatriotic". It seems its hard for you to imagine someone disagreeing with Bush and/or Bush being wrong.

You wrote:"If Gore were in office, our allies would be helping us in Iraq."

If Gore had been President, American might have suffered from additional attacks, and parts of our country would have been forced into Mosques five time a day to say their prayers.

LOL! You're funny! You should go on Jay Leno.

You wrote:"who's the president who stirred up an hornet's nest with his abrasive commentary starting with the "axis of evil"? "

So, you would prefer a President without a backbone. You feel that if we just ignore the threats of Iran, Iraq and North Korea, they would just go away. When you manage to open up your eyes and your mind, you will realize that the hornet's nest already existed, and America got stung on Sept 11, 2001.

Stirring up a hornest's nest and then running for cover is hardly a president with a backbone. It sounds more like a kid with a big stick who doesn't know how to wield it effectively.

Mr. Bush took on N. Korea AND Iran when he was not in the position to do so nor was he able to back up his verbal attacks with something more. Consequently, NK and to a lesser extent, Iran, are taking advantage and playing with us.

Apparently, you think that that's some form of backbone; where I come from its called being foolhardy.

Those words couldn't be more fitting. Thanks for saving me the time to post them. <g>

I'm glad you liked that.
