Bush LIED! The words came out of HIS mouth. He is the CIC. He should take full responsibility for what he says. And the fact is that Bush lied as what he said before have already been proven as lies. From the Iraqi nuclear program, to the uranium from Niger, to the aluminum tubes, to the mobile biological-weapons to the biological chemical and nuclear WMDs. Bush is a LIAR LIAR LIAR. He uttered those words. And like every responsible CIC before him he is ultimately directly responsible for what his administration does and what HE himself says. And what he himself said, was a PACK OF LIES that cost thousands of innocent people including many Americans their lives.

Bush is a LIAR and that has been proven beyond ANY doubt except in the midget brains of the lying hypocritical republican neoNAZIs. And as far as I'm concerned those people, just like Hitler's Nazis before them, will always stick to the fascist propaganda line no matter what. Lies or no lies. Cause their aim is one and only one. Protect their Hitler and Nazi party (Bush and the right wing neoCONs). End of story.

Bush and others certainly hyped the threat of WMDs.

I will say this on the matter of intelligence. I have an Uncle who is a retired Brigadier General from the Vietnam era. He told me point blank within the last few months that he never ever, not a single time while an armored cavalry battalion commander, received a single piece of intelligence that helped in an operation one iota. Instead of saying Bush lied or the Bush administration lied, a much more plausible argument is that the intelligence community and the data it gathers are pretty close to worthless. Those communities would love to sit back and take credit for the century's greatest achievements during world war ii, but quite frankly, what have you guys done for us lately, under any administration. In wwii of course the intelligence community in combination with our allies such as in Blechley park (i have an uncle since deceased who worked there and at NSA) cracked the Nazis Enegma machine both 6 and 8 rotor plus the Japanese diplomatic codes.
