Catastrophe for one little set of self-appointed gods in Washington need not be catastrophe for the rest of us .... again, ahem, your rulers do not equate to your nation, much less to the world .... they have made serious mistakes with this Iraq business, it is our duty to isolate them with it, until such time as they can come to their senses and apologise, and if they can't, well then so be it

Iraq is already a catastrophe, Nadine .... today we know we'll all be paying for this, it's not some far-off future deal, it's fait accompli to the point it's reached so far ..... only thing we can do is cut the losses ... when things like this happen in business, management heads roll, it's the only way to get out of the morass, and you know it'll happen sooner or later, i'm just saying let's do it sooner

If other nations were to come in now and support your neocons, absent some epiphany on their part and an apology for their hubris to date, it would do no good at all, we'd all just get the tar-baby stuck to us too ... and quite possibly worse - we'd be encouraging them to roll their tanks somewhere else, expecting us to fix their messes
