One reason canadians do not support having much for a military, is a well-founded fear that a more effective force would be commandeered by some rogue US administration .... i would suspect this is true of the germans also .... the french, well they're french and have their own ideas While your nation sat back getting fat off the struggle for years in the last two wars, canadians were ready aye ready, enlistment line-ups were at the very start so long they had to ask men to come back on other days, even other weeks .... in the last hundred days leading to 11.11.18, one hundred thousands of the canadian corps met and slaughtered elements of forty-seven divisions, that is one division more than the million and a half US troops met in the entire war .... there is precious bloody little you can preach to us, about fighting when it is time to fight
