I can't believe I'm arguing with you over a stock we both like!!! I'm not sure the WSJ piece drove the AMD rally btw. A whole bunch of infrastructure tech stocks rallied hard during the same period, Juniper for example. My ex, who is a nerd extrodinaire, said to buy AMD when the opteron chip was announced. I wanted to wait for the "weak period" sep oct. Finally I gave up. The economic numbers are making people think a recovery is around the corner, and stocks are going up. I have my suspicions about this jobs mess though. Its possible we get jobs in a strong recovery, I just don't know.
