Pretty good article thanks. Israel is in violation of a UN resolution. One thing in the Israeli conflict you never hear about is exactly what happened when Israel was established. The UN created Israel and it also created a Palestinian state at the same time. The original size of Israel was very very small, much small than even before the 1967 6 day war. As soon as Israel declared their independence as a new country, the Arabs attacked and the Arabs actually lost all the land established by the UN for the Palestinians. I find it pretty sad that the plight of the Palestinias today is a result of the stupidity of the Arab countries in 1948 who attacked Israel right from the get-go....and not only lost but lost badly to Israel who had just leftover scraps of weapons from the Germans from wwii and Czech weapons to fight the Arabs with. The Arabs on the other hand were fully armed by the Soviets...and lost badly.
