kb, thanks for your perspective on IBD and for the doctored chart. I keep a weekly list for major indices as well, but will check the monthly from time to time for a different perspective.

Current year chart seems similar to charts of 1997 and 1998; how deep of a correction are you looking for? Any suggestions on a good site for scans, IBD or other?
