"No, I just recognize the threat and you don't." Hardly. I recognize a threat too, but the current admin is busy magnifying and, dare I say it, exploiting the threat rather than ameliorating it. Taking actions which alienate most of the world is not a good recipe for dealing with this sort of threat. And managing to convince much of the world that the US is as larger or even a larger threat than Al Qaeda or than Saddam was quite a feat. But the rare diplomatic skills of the Bush admin has managed to accomplish this feat in short order. They are indeed magicians. Take a world full of sympathy for us in 2001, and turn it against us by the end of 2002. I guess they all must be brainwashed by too many video games or something.
