<<<then they'll ever need $380 gold (they already hold an undervalued currency).

if so, then what did they or anybody need gold for at lower prices, except to sell it to someone else at higher prices...

a neighbour just bought a rental property. i think he got a relatively good buy on it, considering CURRENT prices, the neighbourhood, and that he could live in it if he wants/needs...and he is well connected to get renovations done without getting ripped off...and he might flip it...
but, he finally threw in the towel on his one gold position he had for years...tells me he doesn't want to hear about gold, doesn't care, bye-bye...asks me what it is even used for...of course then he says, well, they don't even use it in film any more...well, wrong on two counts, i told him it is silver that is used in film and it is still used in conventional film, not everyone is into digital...

at the end of the day, i think even at todays prices, he'd have been better off putting his down payment into a selection of gold shares/gold then into a rental property...
