Little Joe, re a pause...

Great work in your post to which this is a brief response...Particularly like your break down of the HUI stocks, the strongest the weaker, as it was something I was looking at myself. Your comment reposted below is about where I think we're at, too.....

"The bottom line is that the breakout stocks are due for a correction and the other stocks have some overhead resistance to work through. This means we could have a correction this week as the breakout stocks normally do correct after a breakout and the stocks that have overhead resistance will likely have some difficulty moving through it.."

Can the likes of GG, particularly play catch up?? With its gold holding and diversified investments in juniors and long life reserves one might think they were....Are their juniors not coming through with pay dirt, are their earnings increases too far out, do they have too many shares outstanding, do they give out too much in options to management.??...The answer to the shares outstanding and time till earnings increases questions seem to be unfortunately, YES. Hence their under performance the last several months.

The other trailers, GFI HMY AEM MDG....have more obvious reasons for under performance, the rand issue and in MDG's case the problem getting their mine permitted....

Alternatively, to a pull back Tuesday, would be a blow off following strong performances by the metals while the US is on holiday....Big strong opening for GOLD Tuesday, challenging the Feb highs that the HUI stocks don't respond to would be the Kiss of Death....Low probability script but one I am preparing for along with the "buy the dip" opportunity in the likes of HL, NEM and GG.
