I read a really good non-fiction book called Batavia's Graveyard- did I tell you about it? 17th Century, Dutch,- worst REAL mutiny in history- with a genuine 16th century religious nut- worse than Jim Jones. Fascinating book. And at the same time I read a great mystery, set in the US, 17th Century- called The Strange Death of Mistress Coffin. It's one heck of a good mystery- and really well written.
