Joan, IMO the way to look at COTs is that specs long huge number of contracts. Heinz always said that specs going long is the only way the bull market is developing. As of now specs have nice profits, so they may want to take some money off the table. This may cause an avalanche if the profits are very large. Commercials sold futures and are happy to deliver, but if POG falls they may be willing to buy their futures back at a lower price.
