It could be Bermuda or any other foreign country. The issue with me is that if a company wishes to move their corporation to another country..then move it totally! The last time I checked, XOMA hadn't paid any federal taxes and for that matter, many major corporations hadn't paid any taxes..Does Enron come to your mind? We have nearly 9 million citizens of this country that can't find a JOB and latest numbers show that for corporations that showed the largest job cuts among their employees, the CEO's of these corporations got HUGE pay packages as compared to company CEO's that had the fewest job cuts. This issue can be pointed out clearly by a conversation that Henry Ford once had with a union official that was touring Ford's assembly line operation. Ford told the union official.."Once I perfect my assembly line, I won't need your union members!" To which the union leader replied, "But when you do this Mr. Ford, who will be able to buy your automobiles?" George, what has made this country great was the balance between the haves and the have-nots. We bitch about high taxes, but each year we have more millionaires created and we have more children starving. How can you justify this? How can you justify those solicitation phone calls that you get from the Republican party in which they ask for your money so they can continue to lead the country. A country by the way that doesn't get to supply the job for a citizen to call you and ask for your money, but rather a political party that has contracted with a company in INDIA to call you and ask for your money. Talk about hypocrisy!!!!
