Thank-you for the time and effort you put into helping people on the COMPUTER LEARNING thread. It may appear that people can read a question, instantly know the correct answer, and in no time at all, write a clear and concise reply. Anyone thinking this is badly mistaken. I’ve been assisted many times by participants on this thread. Often, it’s more than a solution that’s provided: it’s an explanation too. And that helps me understand my system as well as develop some independence when the next problem appears. You’ve submitted a suggestion: those who receive help through COMPUTER LEARNING can contribute to the overall effectiveness of the thread by providing some feedback. Even if the solutions suggested fail to rectify the difficulty, knowing this will spare others from following the same path to a dead end. And if something works, it’s nice to know that too, so it can be added to our bag of tools. Cheers, PW.
