Yep. Worldcom has been crumbling since before March, 2001. I was working for UUNET when I got laid off in the first rounds of cuts March 1st, 2001. 10,000 in a single day.

Of the original 20 of us that worked at the Houston DC, eight remained last time I checked. They're gutting the whole company of its staff.

poor choice of words ,, hundreds.. from listening to Cramer and Kudlow and at&t, Verizon, etc guests the work of mci could be absorbed into their structure.. I get the feeling they can take all the business from them if they never come out of bankruptcy without any of the employees.....

do not know total employee count but it has got to be huge.

ps one your posts awhile back was a letter from one of the special forces men in Iraq.. I sent it off to dozens of my friends.. I cannot tell you enough how many replies I got back thanking me for the email.... and these people never reply.
