Iceland, is basically one very well managed fish farm 200 sea miles out from it's coastline in all directions. Icelanders fish it according to strict rules.

They are the opposite to the ones used in Europe and most sensible.

They catch some big fish there. Very efficient use of resources.

The important fishing rule that they have is that they have to keep the tiddlers rather then thow back an already dead fish. If they catch too many small fish that sea area it closed down until they grow bigger. There is a lot more scientific research done there then anywhere else I think. Proper management too.
