Well, I trade in and out of Ciena from time to time, and right now I own Juniper, another from the telecom space sort of in a similar position to Ciena. The problem for Juniper is that their executives all make around 200K/year, which isn't enough, considering what the job involves. It is actually tougher to be a CEO of Juniper than a member of the Cisco executive staff, at least I believe so. So what to do. I'll bet it is the same for Ciena.

What this article *should* discuss is the relative pay at the gorilla-size company these upstarts are trying to battle in business. Then look at the pay of the smaller company. If the ratio is 10:1, then something has to give imho.

i would think amazon would refi their debt with some cheap money....? ....where is that banker guy morris...i shorted some amazon today.
