during the 80's peak in gold I recall hearing on the news how people were lining up at the banks to buy gold. Shortly after the price dropped. This coincides with what I have been hearing for years, which is, that John Q comes late to the party. Being a holder of both physical and shares, my plan is to hold, with the odd trade, till JQ is lined to buy and at that time I will sell. As someone once said, "when the ducks are quacking, feed them".

Just don't get caught holding US dollars.
The big difference here that some folks are missing is that this time the US dollar is in its terminal phase.

BTW Russia is about to default again.
