Thanx Cow; Tahts what I was looking for.
I knew how to do it in 98, but couldn't find it
in XP.. ( I didn't look to hard ) as I was sure some
one would point me at it, ( if it was there ).

To others, Windows is a hog about saving it's
physical memory, to about 50% if it can,
no matter how much mem you put in the set,
so if you go from 128M to 256M windows
will start off trying to save 50% of that
extra mem you just put in, by writing
to virtual mem..( XP seems to call this a paging
File ) while 98 called it a swap file.

Change of name but looks the same..
Any way one thing I've done for years is to
Set the Size of that file myself, so win
don't mess around changing it at every
wim. The key is to set the MIN the same
size as the MAX..I use 384 for both. and
ignore the cryptic warning Win gives about not
letting it manage the size.

The first thing you will notice is the HD light
isn't always blinking at you.
