Exactly. Fort Apache, the Bronx is an example of a remote, primitive, off-the-grid community that could benefit from having battery back up in case its antiquated power systems goes on the frizzle as it has several times historically.

We know Fairbanks AK has insttalled a computer controlled battery system for the self same reasons. Largest battery in the world, they say. A Ni-Cad pile we understand.
