2. There were and probably still are many brave New Zealanders in Afghanistan. Considering the eminent peril is it enough? How many are in the Phillipines? Perhaps, absolute numbers are not a good indicator. rather, a percentage of available resources may be a better indicator. As best as I know, the NZ Navy has 3 "big ships" (not being of military orientation, I would not guess what kind they are). 2 of those 3 were in the Persian Gulf region as recent as a couple months ago. That puts NZ as contributing about 66% of its Navy. Is that not "good enough" ?
