I agree with you.

Re: It will be a long time before the neocons recognize this, and even longer before they deal with it.

If history is any guide, the neo-cons will never admit to their folly in public, pride going before the fall. And the mess that they are creating will be cleaned up by more sane human beings. The neocons appear incapable of rational thought.
