any one is permitted to buy health insurance or hire doctors and hospitals. any one can get a job. even teachers, garbage men, movers make good money in u s. everyone gets free education.

we can take over iran, iraq, saudi arabia, libya - u s citizens can go there take over the oil. it can serve as the new frontier. 40 acres and a camel. people can open up bars or whatever- like 49ers- people will make money - not just in extraction. and iraqis - who behave- will be better off. men will suffer- but, it won't get as bad for men as it is in u s.

Which sounds better to you? Universal Health Care or Nation Building Iraq

Neither but it's pretty hard to ignore the ME as the last 50 years shows us. It was the Russians who went into Afghanistan and started this business just as it was the Iraqis who went into Kuwait, unless you believe we winked and nodded our approvals.

This is the way we should be going, letting children vote.

Politicians call for children's vote

A group of cross-party politicians in the German Bundestag has called for the introduction of a children's vote. With the "voting right from birth", parents should be able to vote on behalf of their children. The group said their aim was to attract more attention to children's issues: "It is unfair that more than 5 percent of Germany's citizens cannot vote". The group's draft petition which was presented on Thursday calls for the possibility for parents to vote in the name of their children until they reach the age of 18 and that parents should talk to their children about election decisions as soon as they reach an appropriate age. Critics say these propositions are naive. "Many parents have a completely different opinion in politics than their children", Irmingard Schewe-Gerigk from the Greens said.

Harvey,
re:Which sounds better to you? Universal Health Care or Nation Building Iraq?

Nation building Iraq of course.

We're back to my original point. Liberal logic.

Which sounds better to you? Universal health care or universal food? I would think food is more important than health care. Who pays for all of this? The people who do not agree with your point of view? It's what the great society has been preaching for 40 years. The successful are becoming the abused minority in this nation. Is that what you want?

Liberalism is parasitic. Once you kill the host, what are you left with?
