The employment figures are the reason the deficit keeps rising. Bush's lackluster economic team doesn't get the global economy. The CBO budgeted for Iraq and the tax cut but not the continuing job loss. And they don't know how to fix it, they've spent the farm on other useless measures. Iraq is costing a lot more than planned but the job loss is the real budget-killer.
