it would be nice if they were supportive of what went into them and came out of them, too. i didn't say should not work. but, i don't think those women who play this role well and don't work should be denigrated. i know women who have no job or a light job and don't do much in raising kids, cooking, keeping house, supporting their husbands- and think they are above those who do. a woman who makes over $100,000 a year at a job needn't cook gourmet meals every night, have no help with the house, not go to restaurants or order up a lot. still, it would still be important for her to have time and energy for her family.
