Virtually all of our traffic jamming is to and from the surrounding developments that cut through our RSF oasis. I'm not sure your Arc de Triomphe roundabout is a good model. Somehow jillions of tiny toy autos darting back and forth over three or four imaginary lanes around a monument to France's very brief 'moment of triumph' over about 600 years of abject failure doesn't seem like a suitable model! <g> Now as for the huge SUVs ('Slades, H-2, etc.) they are super, safe with 100's of lbs. of steel protection, great visibility and most importantly as a few 'clear headed thinkers' have pointed out they recycle great gobs of dead carbon back into the atmosphere as life creation CO2. CA & the USA needs many-many more SUVs and the new H-2 type class - the FUVs. The next time you are in RSF you should quietly sit at the Garden Club with a tall cold iced tea, making sure your Oakley Plutonite shades are clean and watch the H-2s & 'Slades cruise by and stop at the library or the K-8 school. Most are driven by incredible looking young lovelies sporting a taunt bare midriff and wearing 3" (7.62 cm) stiletto Manolo Blaknik or Jimmy Choo stylish shoes on their dainty feet. BTW, you were less than two blocks away from the Garden Club observation point when you were eating at the 'outdoor' restaurant surrounded by far too many real estate offices and banks. <g> Most of CA has not been as fortunate as RSF & much of N. San Diego County. The state has suffered mightily through 8 years of the Clinton trickle-down immorality and almost five years of the Governor (Gray Davis) from the Sacramento tax & voter-pandering temple. However, there are a lot of high expectations near (Oct 7th) and CA is about to kick it up a notch or two from #6 in the ranking of the world’s largest economies. You see there came a stranger from a far land to CA. He saw the people were oppressed by cruel taxes and evil overlords. And is name was ARNOLD, the soon to be Governator about to TRMN8DBAD1. All it takes to erase the Davis 38B $US is a little printing. Here just for you is a preview of the new Governator money in $CA that may be purchased now over cyberspace at the prevailing Kiwi $ exchange rate. See: www.slick.com Best regards, Mac
