Maurice,

How are you doing?

<<because those capital markets are lending money to people who think they can do something useful with it, loaned by people who think the borrower has got sufficient collateral to pay it back and sufficient income to pay the interest on the money.

Have you looked at the balance sheets of these companies in the US - there are a lot of companies that are walking bankruptcies!!!!! On top of that stockholder equity is in the crapper - why in the heck would someone buy stock in a company without assets for the stockholder!!!!! I do not think these people throwing money at this market in the US realize the bond holders are the sole owners of what they are buying.

All the companies that provide utilities to my house will not be able to service their debt. I would have an outage maybe one every couple of years and now am experiencing outages a couple of times a month. This is a mess!!!!! Got Argentina.

Rant - Rant - Rant. <g>

Edit: The banks here in the states do not care if the company can service the debt that is borrowed - they just package it up and sell it.

Maurice,

On the NZ$. Fortunately I was buying both NZ$ and AU$ starting in 2000. Unfortunately I did not throw the whole farm including the kitchen sink at them. <g>
