That may be true in your old S Cal stomping grounds...but the NRA has a huge following in N Cal.

TRD (Thumb Recall Doctrine) should solve a lot of "selling the NRA" issues for the Social Conservative crowd. Everybody who should have a gun gets to keep theirs, whilst the converse is equally applied.
