Well that says the same thing I did: January 2001: 143,797,000 July 2003: 146,540,000 is it on the most requested statistics page? So what? The question should be "Is it correct or isn't it?" We're talking facts, not popularity contests. What do you suggest be done about offshoring? Withdraw from NAFTA and the WTO? You certainly can't, much as you would like to, hold Bush responsible for the Clinton bubble bursting. The break occurred before he even had the nomination. Bill and Alan built that thing, not George. And anyone who knows anything about markets knew it was going to burst, the only question was when. And when one of those things bursts, there's a lot of wreckage left behind. Considering that that thing was of the same order of magnitude as '29, we aren't doing that badly at all. Come on, Lizzie, let's be fair about this, not partisan.
