You cannot have it both ways. I think you misunderstand my post... NORAD is saying that they cannot see the interior of the continent, that their system looks only out and that they must rely on FAA to see inside the borders/coasts. I was under the impression that they could see all the US & Canadian airspace. Too, I thought that NORAD's system was mostly satellite-based. I am trying to imagine a space-based system whose vision stops at the coasts.
